Project Description: A two layer screen print on cardboard in memory of longtime Precita Park resident Stephen Stymiest. Edition of 90. A limited number of these prints are available at Charlie’s Café and Precita Park café while supplies last
Info: In December 2011, Stephen was attacked by unknown assailants. In early 2012 Stephen died of cirrhosis of the liver and wounds sustained during the attack, which is believed to be a gang initiation incident.
I placed a few of these around the West end of the park in which Stephen was a reliable and comforting presence.
